The poem that interested me the most was"Barbie Doll". I found the poem very surprising and kind of horrifying. At first i was so convinced the girl was for the most part normal and just like all the others but when the poem ended the way it did, i really didn't know what to think of it. When i actually realized that the girl had cut off her own legs and nose after she was told they were fat, i was honestly confused. My favorite passage was "in the casket displayed on satin she lay with the undertaker's cosmetics painted on, a turned-up putty nose, dressed in a pink and white nightie". That was my favorite passage mostly because it reassured me that what i read previously about her legs and nose being cut off was completely true and the irony of the poem was shown.
